Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By signing in to Repovex you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using Repovex on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

2. The service

Repovex is a GitHub repository health scoring tool. It installs as a GitHub App, reads repository metadata via the GitHub API, and presents results through a web dashboard. We do not modify your repositories, secrets, or settings in any way.

3. Plans and billing

Free plan: Scans up to 5 repositories. Available indefinitely at no cost.

Pro plan: Unlimited repositories plus weekly Slack and email digests. Billed monthly. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Repovex to scan repositories you do not own or have permission to analyse
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or bypass the service's rate limits
• Use the service in any way that violates GitHub's Terms of Service
• Resell or sublicense access to the service

5. GitHub permissions

Repovex requests read-only access to your organisation's repository metadata, branch protection settings, and workflow files. We do not request write permissions. You can revoke access at any time by uninstalling the GitHub App from your organisation.

6. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee any specific uptime. Scheduled maintenance and unplanned outages may occur. We are not liable for any loss resulting from downtime.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Repovex is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. The health scores and check results are informational only — they do not constitute a security audit or legal compliance assessment. We make no guarantees about the accuracy or completeness of check results.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Repovex's total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

9. Termination

You may stop using Repovex and uninstall the GitHub App at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify active users by email of material changes.
