Privacy Policy — Repovex

1. What we collect

When you sign in with GitHub, we receive and store:

Your GitHub username and user ID
Your public email address from GitHub (if you have one set)
The name and ID of any GitHub organisation you grant us access to

When we scan your repositories, we store:

Repository names and full names (owner/repo)
The result of each health check (pass/fail)
An overall score per repository
Score history over time

We do not access, read, or store your source code, commit history, secrets, or any repository contents.

2. How we use it

We use the data we collect solely to:

Display your repository health dashboard
Run nightly automated scans
Send you weekly digest emails (if you have an email on file)
Post weekly Slack digests (Pro plan, if you configure a webhook)
Send transactional emails such as welcome messages and Pro waitlist notifications

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with any third party except as described below.

3. Third-party services

Repovex uses the following sub-processors:

GitHub — OAuth authentication and repository metadata via the GitHub App API
Resend — transactional email delivery. Your email address is passed to Resend when we send you an email
Stripe — payment processing for Pro subscriptions. We never store card details; Stripe handles all payment data

4. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Score history is capped at the 30 most recent scans per repository. If you delete your account, all associated data is removed within 30 days.

5. Cookies and sessions

We use a single signed session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or any third-party cookies.

6. Your rights

You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing hello@repovex.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will notify users by email of any material changes.
